Continuation Guidelines

By Mr. Gorman

I believe that establishing strong habits early will increase overall success throughout the year. As you can see below, the district has specific guidelines for participation in continuation that will be followed at AHMS. Please work with your student to develop and maintain the positive student characteristics and habits necessary to be successful at school, as well as participate in the 8th grade activities.  Continuation is a celebration and recognition of our 8th grade students moving from middle school to high school.  It is not a graduation, merely recognition, and our way of wishing them luck to their next educational experience. Students earn the opportunity to participate in the Continuation Program and 8th grade activities at the end of the year.  Please work with us and support us in our endeavor of improving student attendance and student achievement.
