Have you felt like you are the only person homeschooling in Denver? You are not alone! Denver Options Home School Enrichment is here to support your family by offering activities that are difficult or impossible to do at home.

We are weekly homeschool enrichment program offered through the Options School of the Aurora Public School system. There are hundreds of  homeschooled students enrolled in the Options schools throughout metro-Denver in sites from Estes Park to Castle Rock. Each site has its own treasures to offer, and its own personality.  Larger or smaller, more ’school’ or more ‘enrichment’, more structure or less, each site is its own seperate experience.  The Denver Site is a special place for homeschooled kids.  

Our Denver site opened Aug 31, 2004. We meet each Tuesday during the traditional school year from 8:45-3:15. This site serves  kids each year in grades K-12. Our teacher ratio is 1:9.

We work to create a small school atmosphere with homeschool flavor! We want this program to enhance what you are doing at home- not replace it. We will not dictate what you teach at home. Instead, we offer enrichment type classes that are suited for group instruction and require more preparation or supplies than most parents like to do at home. We are conscious of your educating time and limit homework. We hope the day is a respite for homeschooling moms, and that our site is a great place to connect with others who are committed to schooling their children at home.

A Quick Look at Who We Are:

  • We are a small K-12 school, meeting each Tuesday 8:45-3:15
  • We offer interactive classes that are most effective in a group setting
  • We are publicly funded, so there are no tuition fees.
  • We offer a wide variety of free curriculum that you can use for the duration of the school year. We have state certified teachers who love our kids and offer great projects and interactive learning through well-developed and thoughtful projects.
  • Our student/teacher ratio is 1:9
  • We plan group field trips, parties and ‘share fairs’
  • We offer Iowa Testing, Scholastic books, and much more.
