It is our intent to assist parents as they Homeschool their children with the resources of Aurora Public Schools by providing certain classes to homeschoolers on Fridays. New Life Options is an enrichment program only for children in grades K-5 and should be considered only 20% of a total Homeschool program. In grades 6-8 we begin to help prepare children for High School, therefore the classes are more homework intensive. Block classes are offered for students in grades 9-12 and will fulfill complete credit hours for certain courses. Upper High School students are encouraged to enter the Post Secondary Options program. More information about this program is available upon request.
Mindy Prichard is the New Life Options coordinator and Lisa McKenna is the assistant coordinator. Joe Burton is our site principal who is an Aurora Public School principal.
We meet almost every Friday from Sept. to May in New Life E- Free Church across the street from Rangeview High School. Our school hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Our classes will provide textbooks. You may also borrow curriculum from APS, and a Book Fair is held in the spring to view available texts.
Although our class schedule changes slightly each year we offer the following classes:
Art
Music
PE
Science
Lang Arts
Government/Civics
Foreign Languages
HS Math
