Ms. Bixler’s Class

I can’t believe that the 2009-2010 school year has begun.  This is my 19th year teaching but every year I feel just as excited as the first.  I love the smell of new school supplies and the faces of eager young learners.  This year I have been blessed with some familiar faces as well as some new ones.  I am looking forward to developing all of them into confident mathematicians and curious scientist!  I am also blessed to start the school year out with Miss Harris who is a  student teacher with Regis.  Miss Harris is a fabulous young lady who is very exited about teaching this year.  She will gradually take over the teaching responsibilities with guidance from Ms. Narvaez and my self.  She will stay with us through the first semester then she will continue on to become a great teacher with her own classroom (possibly in Singapore).
