Log in to www.apslearning.net
TECHNOLOGY FACILITATOR
Add Teachers to Moodle
- Click on “Users,” and then “Add a new user”
- Enter information into cells with RED text
- Click “update profile”
Assign teacher to the school
- Click on “Course,” then Add/edit course”
- Locate the teacher’s school and click on it.
- Add a “sub-category”
- Name it the teacher’s name
- “Create category”
- “Assign roles” (located to far right of screen)
- “Course Creator”
- Use filter box to locate teacher
- Select teacher and use the arrow to move them over to the left field
- “Assign roles in System”
TEACHER
Create a new course under School
- Click on “Course,” then Add/edit course”
- Locate the your school and click on it.
- “Add a new course”
- Name it the teacher’s name +101 or whatever
- “save changes”
- “Assign roles” (located to far right of screen)
- “Course Creator”
- Use filter box to locate teacher
- Select teacher and use the arrow to move them over to the left field
- “Assign roles in System”
- “click here to enter course”
import template (Boston template [or choose your own])
- enter course
- Click on “import”
- Choose “Boston template” from dropdown list (click on arrow and type in BOSTON… to go directly to it)
- “use this course”
- “Continue,” “continue,” “continue,” “continue.”
