HELP!

 My application/computer froze:

• Log out: Save your work (if possible) then simultaneously press Ctrl, Alt & Backspace.This will log the computer out. It should automatically log back in after a few seconds.

How do I connect to wireless services?

• Click on the blue wireless icon, choose APSWPA.
  • If away from school, click on the wireless icon, choose your network and put the passcode in
• You may have to type in your administrative password in order to add the password to the laptops key-ring.

How do I connect to a projector?

• Log out and allow the computer to automatically log back in.
• You can quickly log out by simultaneously pressing Ctrl, Alt and Delete.
• Be sure to save your work first.

How do I keep the laptop software updated?
When updates are available, the update icon (an orange square) appears in the panel, usually near the top right of the screen. To install updates you must be an administrator  and the computer must be connected to the Internet.

1. Click the update icon, and enter your password when asked.
2. In the Update Manager window, click Install Updates.
