APS acquired rights for Freedom Writers the movie to be shown from start to finish for our high schools only. By following this discussion guide, middle school teachers will meet copyright laws as the movie will be shown in sections.
If a middle school teacher chooses to show this entire movie, you will need permission from the principal and to contact Jan Novak, Director of Library Services (ext. 28296), so rights can be acquired to show this movie publicly.
If a high school teacher chooses to show this entire movie, you will need permission from the principal.
