The 8th grade Academy students are attending Legislative Day on February 18, 2010. Legislative day is a day long field trip that 8th grade students will attend at the state Capitol. The purpose of the field trip is for students to take part in and witness first hand the legislative process. Some students will be able to shadow a legislator for the day. The bus leaves at 6:30 am on February 18th and will return before 3pm.

Welcome to a new and exciting school year. This is an exciting year for a number of reasons. First is the attention to technology in our classrooms. Second, is the new standards based grading system.
