Welcome to North Middle School Health Sciences & Technology Campus. My name is Gerardo De La Garza and it is an honor to be the instructional leader at such a great school. This is my fourth year as principal at North and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The students, staff and community are the best in Aurora. North is pround to be an Aurora Lights Partner school with a health sciences and technology focus. Students in grades 6-8 receive a rigorous academic core education that includes a health sciences class and a literacy technology for all students.

Additionally, our Health Sciences & Technology Academy program is an advanced program for high achieving students. The program is open to 60 students at each grade level. Students accepted into the program recieve advance academic instruction and participate in field experiences at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Acceptance into the program is by application and spots are filling up quickly. Contact our school for more information.

North is the best middle school in Aurora! We continue to lead the district’s traditional middle schools as measured by the Colorado state assessment growth model. We have high expectations for all students and we pride ourselves in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students. We welcome you to join our great family!
