PERIOD 1 - Begin the review packet handed out today in class. Absent today? Be sure to get one when you return!! Bring the packet each day to class. It is due this Friday!
PERIOD 2 - Finished Investigation 3.3 today and checked our homework from yesterday. Students did an exit ticket on finding out how mcuh profit was made from each customer from the graph we worked with in the investigation. NO HOMEWORK FOR WEDNESDAY.
PERIOD 3 - We finished 4.1 and did Follow Up #1 as well. Students did 4.2 Follow Up in class and turned it in. Assigned work for Wednesday is to do the ACE problems on pages 46-49 and even numbers 2-36. Also try Investigation 4.3 parts A-C for Wednesday.

PERIOD 1 - We finished work on ACE problems 6,10, and 11 from pages 46-47. Today we worked on Inv. 4.3, and did an EXIT TICKET on that work. ASSIGNMENT FOR TUESDAY IS TO DO PAGES 47 AND 48: PROBLEMS 9 AND 21.
PERIOD 2 - I handed back the EXIT TICKET from Friday and students were given time to make corrections and then they turned them back in. We worked on 3.2 in class. STUDENTS HAVE PAGE 46 PROBLEM #9 parts a-e TO DO FOR TUESDAY.
PERIOD 3 - Students had time to work on completing their poster from 3.2, to begin their work on labsheet 4.1 ( garden) and to begin ACE work that is due Wed. ASSIGNMENT FOR TUESDAY IS TO FINISH LABSHEET 4.1. FOR WEDNESDAY DO ACE PROBLEMS ON PAGES 46-49: # 2-36 EVEN NUMBERS ONLY.

THERE WAS A PLANNER CHECK IN ALL CLASSES TODAY. IF YOUR CHILD WAS ABSENT, MAKE SURE THEY SEE ME TO GET CREDIT FOR THE CHECK.
PERIOD 1 - We worked a lot today on proportions and equivalent ratios. We checked 4.2 and students have the following work to finish for Monday. We started it in class today. Page 46 - #6,10 and 11
PERIOD 2 - We finished work on Investiagtion 3.1 today. Students had an exit ticket to do. It was problem #4 on page 43. No work assigned for Monday.
PERIOD 3 - We checked the ACE work assigned on Thursday, took a test, and began work on posters for Investigation 3.2 Baking Browines. No work assigned for Monday.

PARENT PORTAL - I will post scores from assessments within about 2-3 days of the test date.
AS OF DECEMBER 14 - The math department will be recording grades as follows.
Each week a HOMEWORK completion score will be posted. This will be a 0-4 score with 4 meaning all homework was completed on time.
ASSESSMENTS will be posted as they are taken under the Math Standard ( Geometry, Measurement, Algebra, Computation, Number Sense, or Probability and Statistics) that the test covers which could be more than one standard. A capital letter score means a major assessment and a lower case letter means a minor assessment which carries less emphasis toward the student’s overall proficiency rating.
WORK HABITS will be posted twice a quarter, once at progress and then at the end of the quarter.

PERIOD 1 - We finished 4.1. Students took a short quiz. We began 4.2 and students are assigned parts a-d of 4.2 as well as the follow-up.
PERIOD 2 - We took a short quiz and began Investigation 3.1. I collected the ACE problem from page 28 (#3). Students are to finish 3.1 for Friday. Do parts A and B and try the follow-up questions on the next paqe.
PERIOD 3 - We checked the work for inv. 3.1. Students are to do ACE problems on page 34 - #13, 18-32 for Friday and also look over 3.2 for Friday.

PERIOD 1 - We began investigation unit 4 with lesson 4.1. Students are to do page 46 problems #4 and 5 for Thursday.
PERIOD 2 - We began but did not finish investigation 2.5. We did finish talking about 2.4. Assignment is to do ACE problem #3 on page 28 for Thursday.
PERIOD 3 - We discussed the Locker Problem and will finish it up on Friday. I collected the work for it today. We began lesson 3.1 and students are to finish it and the follow-up for Thursday. Labsheet 3.1 was handed out to use to do Invest. 3.1

Period 1 - Did not do any new investigation today. No new work assigned for Wed. Catch up on any missing work if needed. Students took an in-class assessment on problems 2 and 8 on pages 31 and 32.
Period 2 - We completed 2.3, checked 2.3 follow-up ( exit ticket on Monday), returned the assessment over patterns, and began work on Invest. 2.4. Assignment is to finish 2.4 for Wed. parts A and B
Period 3 - We checked 2.1 and 2.2 invest. work. returned assessment from Monday. Assigned work for Wed. is Page 26 - #1-5, 8-15 and 20-27. Also, BRING IN YOUR LOCKER PROBLEM WORK ON WEDNESDAY.
