At this point, most students should have an independent reading book. Students read silently for 30 minutes a day. I love this time of peace and quiet. Independent reading allows for me, the teacher, to get insight into how my students make meaning. It also allows time for students to practice what they have seen me do during demonstrations.

I really I ike the part that Ramiro has stoppeddoing gang things and now on page 85 he is starting to play an instrument and the instrument he is playingis the saxophone.
I dont like the fact that he puts his mind on gang stuff because last time he hung out with his “homies” he was sent to a juve office but they didnt do anything bad so one of his friends mom took him home.

Dear Mrs.Stephens,
I have enjoyed reading Flipped,By Wendelin Van Draanen.There’s two major characters and their names are Bryce and Julianna.It’s all about a boy named Bryce and how hard his lifes gets each time and a girl who’s Julianna has the same life as Bryce and when Julianna lost something very important she could see it again and again in her head.
One thing I don’t like about the book is that they didn’t put more characters because the main characters are Just Bryce and Julianna and nobody else because sometimes they included friends but not that much and a little bit of their’s brothers and sisters and the parents.
One question I have for you is if Bryce ad Julianna are going to be friends forever because right now they don’t do well talking to each other or play with each other in the story.

This week in Friday Night Lights there has been alot going on. The thing I like the most right know is how they disided who goes to the playoffs if there is a tie.they have to flip a coin out of all the things they could do.
There is not a thing wright know that i dont like about the book.
A qustion i have is will they the coach another chance.

The book of the is a child called “it” .I love is a good book . I feel sad for the kid name Dave they don’t take care of him.
Sometime she don’t even give him food and if the poor little kid don’t find the dish on time she
try to kill him.
My question is why does his why do they us to take care of him and why no more. And they us to give him food and play with him.

The book the lost boy is amazing because at school the police comes and picks him up .David and the police offeser takes him to a fosters home and one night he had a dream that his mother took him away.
One thing I dont like about the bookmis that the mother is to mean.
my queshton is why is the mother only mesn to him and not the rest of his brothers.

the book the lost boy is so good because David and mrs Gold got to court to figer out things about wether he goes to the foster home or stays with his mom .he win later after he wins they adopted him by this woman called lillian so know he is living with her.ther is nothing I dont like about the lost boy.

I so far I relly only like one story in Girls speak out by I totlle forgot.But my fave story is about this girl (the athor’s nieci)goes to her fiends house to spend the night and she is falls alsleep in the living room floor and her frinds were in the room and her friend’s father undessed her and rade her.She now helps girls who have been though that as lawer. I relly dislike the poems.Bacisly the whole pergome is so what suidto me.

I’m already done reading Flipped and now I’m reading is Crunch Time by Mariah Fredericks.There’s Four characters and there names are Max,Daisy,Leo,Jane and there going to have a test like csap but there’s are different.It’s all about these four kids and they all are worried about the test because they don’t know if they are going to flunk school or if they are going to college.
One thing I don’t like about the book is that they are thinking to pass the test and all they do is worry about it.
One question I have for you is if they are going to pass the test to go to college.

What I like about the book that I am reading is interesting because Poison faces dangerous people like the bone witch and that makes the book more interesting.
