2nd Quarter is here! During 2nd Quarter, we will be reading a lot more Nonfiction Text. I envision reading newspapers, magazine articles, and cookbooks. Cookbooks?!? Our Unit of Study in writing is How-To. We will be reading and writing about the steps involved in doing different things. Who knows “How to” make a Go Kart?
But before we get to that, what are some things you learned about yourself as a reader during the 1st quarter? What is a different genre you want to try reading this quarter? Why? I look forward to hearing from all of you.

I know that I’m reading in a higher grade level. I really like to read non-fiction because they are true and they are not like the fictions books.

i want to try to read fantasy books because i dont like fantasys cause i dont like to read about them

I want to read a book about somthing other than sports like a poetry book. I want to do that because i might like it better.
i learned that extrem sports is fun to read about.
And i know how to buld a goat cart.

I don’t know how to build a go-Kart. I learned to pick different books because saometimes it’s a good book. I would love a autobiography because I think it is better to hear it from real people besides people who know other people.

I don’t know how to build a go Kart. I learned to pick the right books that are just right for me to read. I would like to read biography because I want to learn like more interesting facts about people that did something right.

During the first quarter I learned that I am very good at math .
I also learned that I get distracted easly.
I also learned that I have a temper .

Hi! I realized that I get distraced way to fast! I need to focus more and I am working on that. I also want to start reading more about different cultures and places and on different animals I hope to learn about a different animal I have never heard before.

that you have to put punchiwation on you writing and to try to finish books quik and you have to endent in your writing.

I learned about my self that I can read faster and I understand the main Idea more better of each story. Also, I know how to be better note taker.
when I’m done reading my book I want to read a realistic fiction book. I want to read realistic books for this quater because I think there more intresting for me.

i learned how to find the main idea, how to answer objectives, how to be track of the objective while reading- see if there is something that could be added to the answer of the objective. i learned many things.

What I learned in 1st quarter is to take lost of notes about your book.
And the new genre that i want to read in 2nd quarter is more fiction books.
Because i don’t really read those kinds of books.

I am reading the first part last it has tought me about that you should mack good choices and dont mack the first part that you should do last like when you think in your mind should i do this and you do a bad choise and the when you suferd and and cried and know you have to mack another choise and you mack a good choise it is last.well my goal was to get better on my putiwation and on my spelling on september ,30,08, I used putiwatoin corectly .Lesley ortiz moreno
