By now most of you have read so many wonderful books. I am very proud of you for being “Eager Learners” who approach reading in such a positive way. Which two books would you recommend to other 6th graders? Before you answer this question, read a few book reviews and write down in your reading journal what you notice about book reviews. Once you have have 5 or more characteristics of book reviews written down, show them to me so we can discuss this in your individual reading conference! After this conference, you will be ready to leave a comment. I can’t wait to hear from all of you!

I have read Skate Freak by Lesley Choyce. It is a awsome book! I recomend it to people who like skatebording and skatebording action. And it has a good lesson too. I wish i could tell more but i want you to read it.

Autobiography Of My Dead Brother is the book I read and that really took my attention. I like the book because of the comic scenes and that made it very interesting because it showed the pic of the character. I coild connect to the book because i see a lot of people with friends saying that they are like brothers.
When Rise the character died it told you inthe the book that half of Jessy’s life was ruined.
The Boy Who Couldn’t Die Was my other book I read. This book is really had my attention because I like scary books. this book was good because it was a good scary book and it made me think a lot like how did the character kill the people? this book is a good book and i wish i could read it again but since we have to read a lot of different books i cant but i think i will own it it.

I have read Brians Return. It is a good book that makes you open your eyes open about life and the wild. I would give it 4 stars. And i recommend it to all.

CONCRETE JUNGLE
THIS BOOK IS ABOUT A GROWING UP ELEVEN YEAR OLD THAT GOT CAUGHT UP WITH THE CRIPS AND GREW UP WANTING TO CHANGE HIS LIFE BUT GETS SHOT BY A HOMIE THAT BETRAYED HIM. MONSTER IN THE KODY SCOTT GETS JUMPED IN THE CRIPS AT AGE 11 AND GROWS UP GETTING TO LEARN THE HARD WAY BY GOING TO JAIL A FEW TIMS AND GETTING PERMANANTLEY SCARRED BY A FEW BULLETS.HAVING VERY MANY OF HIS FRIENDS DIEING IN THE CONCRETE JUNGLE OF L.A. AND HIS MOM BEGGING HIM TO STOP BANGING HE FINALLY HAD TO MUCH AND DIDNT BANG ANYMORE.BUT A FORMER HOMIE FROM THE CRIPS WENT TO THE BLOODS AND SHOT HIS FORMER IN THE HEAD.(REAL HOMIE HUH)THIS BOOK IS FULL OF ACTION AND I RECCOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANY READER.I GIVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS WITHOUT A DOUBT.

is very awsome. it is a great book. i bet you wont stop reading it. the problom is
that vinces girl friends dad is a FBI agent. the agent that wants to put vinces dad
away for good. i would give this book 5 stars no matter what. so i recommened
this book because it is very intersting.

HI MRS.stephens the three things i noctice from the book reviewes from the books i read where 1.that a lot of people said oh this book sucks and other people said oh my god this book rocks. 2. people say ”you should read it and you should read all 4 books.3. like i also did a child called it and some people said that it was bad for child abuse and i think that why about child abuse to.4. And also some people in a child called it said that u should be lucky 2 have parents that really care about you.5. some people say that they’er happy the aruothr wrote the story of breaking dawn and a child called it.

THE CREEK by Jennifer L. holm is a good book because it tells you alot of details and tou can make a movie out of it.
Like when penny found a skull in the creek also some of the characters are penny oren benji mac teddy zachary and caleb devlin.
They are all friends exept caleb devlin and teddy is penny’s brother recommend these book because you can make a movie with it.

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID BY:JEFF KINNEY
This book is great! The first time I saw it I thought it was for smaller kids and that it wasn’t really interesting. But when I went to the library I read the back of eit to see what it was about. I checked ou the book and read it in a week! This book is about a boy that goes to junior high that doesn’t want to be a loser, but his friend Rowley makes him look like a loser.
I read it to my little sister that she is in kindergarten and she loved it! I have never seen her so interested in a book! Now she doesnt leave me alone! Every single day she ask’s me “When are you going to get the second book of Diary of a Wimpy Kid?” We are both really into this book!!!! We love the animations, and it looks as if somebody really wrote it by hand. I would recommend this book to people who would like a good luagh, and becuase it is the funniest book ever!!!!! I give it 5 stars! It is one of my favorite books I have read!

I all ready read 10 books but for the people who havent these are some books that I really recomend to you.The first book that I REALLY recomend to you is “Mick Harte was here” it talks about a boy named Mick who aperantly died in a bikesicle acsident it also talks about how the familly suffers and how they come to a solushon it is only 88 pages so you will proubably finish it in 1-2 days so you will get to your 10 books in no time ,it is also very heart warming and touching .the book I realy also recomend to you is the child called it .It is about a boy named David and how he suffers with a mother that abuses him .And how he strugles to live .those are the 2 books that I really recomend to you .

The book review for CHILD CALLED IT. I think that CALLED IT is sad and makes me ask what kind of mother will do such a thing to her child. i don’t like davids mom beacuse as a kid it is scary.when i was reading this book it made me think what wil happen to me if I was david.I really like child called it i will give five stars and recommed this book.

The book review for THE CREEK. Well, this book is a novel of suspence and its just amazing.
This book is about a girl that barely moved in and is hearing stuff about this dangerous kid that since she moved in she has been hearing rumors and a kid gets killed while they are playing. I recommend this book because its good and it will inspire you to read it the whole entire time.
This second book review is for BEING DEAD by VIVIAN VANDE VELDE. This bookhas a lot of storys. It dosent have that many it only has 7. They are all good storys but I think that the best one is the 1st one.Maybe its because that was the first story that I read but I think at last I would like it. I think that I would recommend it because it has a lot of details and you can make movies in your head.

this book diary of a wimpy the last straw is a very intersting.
it dosent get you bord at all. once you read it you wont get
rid of it. the character greg has many probloms at school.
one of the problomes is that they always bully him. the only
way for him to escape those probloms is to just make stuff
up. i would give this book 5 stars with out a dought. what i
like about this book is that greg escapse threw his probloms.
but what i dont like about this book is that they always bully
him. but i still like this book and i do recommend it because it is
so funny

Tithe is a goood book because it is acool book to read because it is like I am in the story. And I give it 5 stars on it. Most people like reading this book a lot and that is so true. Because there are 111 people that give it 5 stars and there are 112 people because me. And I recommended this book because when I was reading it in the frist time I was geting in trstand. And that is why I like it.

Hi!
Born blue is a awesome, fun, fantastice book. It shows the life of a little girl in a way none has seen before. It gives girls a chance to see into the futer if that was them. This book is not only for girls, but for boys, parents, anybody. I picked up this book thinking it will be boring but, when I started reading I couldn’t put it down.
I recommend this book to anyone that likes a little drama. I give this book 5 stars. I think they should make it into a movie. The author is brilliant. It never crosses my mind that this book is fiction.I love it!!!!!!
You don’t know me is a heart-racing, page-turning, book. You never know what John is going to do next. One thing I love about him Is he doesn’t back down from a fight. If it’s with Gloria, The girl he is madly in love with, or the man that is not his father, he won’t back down.John is powerful, he thinks not fighting will put the other person in power and John doesn’t like that.
Also,John lives in his head a lot. It is not a good place to be even though us readers love it. John’s head is filled with sarcasem and crazy thoughts, but I love everyone.They are so funny. I give this book 5 stars and recommend it to everyone.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK DON’I GIVE A BOY A GUN IS THAT I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE FUN TO READ BECAUSE OF THE COVER. WHAT I DISLIKE IS THAT INTILL LATTER THEY TALK ABOUT THE KIDS KILLING THERE CLASSMATES I LIKE WHEN STARTS WITH THE SCARY PARTS. WHAT MADE ME READ THE STORY WAS ABOUT THE KIDS KILLING THERE CLASSMATES. WHY DID THEY DO THAT TO THERE CLASSMATES?

The book that i did a review on was the book A CHILD CALLED IT. What i read about the coments that people siad was that they said that it was a sad story to read and the mom was child abusing him. When i read A CHILD CALLED IT.Iwas thinking that i am realy lucky to have a mom and dad that love me.

My book review for ARE WE THERE YET by Robert Caprio. I like this book beacuse it tells you more about my favorite wrestlers for example John Cena, The Big Show and more. An other reason is I like this book is because it tells you what it feels like to travel around the world. The reason I chose this book was because I like wreastling and even if its fake its still cool. I would give this book five stars.

I would give this book 5 stars and the name is The Tale of Despereaux by Kate Dicamillo. I really, really liked this book because it had feelings like: Sad, Funny, serious, and other feelings. Some paragraphs that I really like was “Once Upon a Time.” The other thing that I can mention in the story is that when Despereaux found out that Chiaroscuro a “RAT” and miggery sow kipnapped the princess Pea and then Despereaux went to save her and rescued her. So that is why I would give this book 5 stars.

He wants nobody to find out about his secret. But when he dates a girl problems start. Vince never knew that the girls dad was an FBI angent. Now he has to hide from him and do anything he can to survive. Will Vince Luca live any longer around his fellow mob members or arround several inmates of a most wanted jail. Well, if you have never read a book by Jennifer L.Holm this is what you will want to start reading.
This book starts of with a 12 year old gril that her name is penny carson. After a few yearsa boy has who terrorized the whole town
came back. Penny has a brother and his name is Teddy, one night penny left her brother alone in the woods the next day penny went back
in the woods and finds her brother dead.
the boy who terrorized the entire town was Cleb Devlin the criminal. So again this is the book you are looking for.
this book is a gorges book I give it five stars out of five. I reccomend this book because this a book that has meny things in commen

I would reccomened the books Angels And Demons and Chew On This.
Angels and Demons is a very fun mysterious book. Once you read it you can’t take your eyes off of it. After this I’m going to read Da Vinci Code. It is about A man named Leonardo Vetra who got killed by a group of Iluminatis. He got killed because he created something from nothing! Read it to find out!
Chew On This is about fast food and what it does to you and how it effects you. You should read it and find out what they do to the animals and what they put in your soda!

The book that I think is intresting to me is called Dear Mr.Henshaw and its by Beverly Cleary.I think this book is really intresting and cool. Also, iI would recomend it to people that has a family member thats a trucker just like mines.Thats why I like it becuse we have alot of stuff commen. I would give this book 4 and a half star rating.

What if your life was like gregory, well try to compare your life to gregory diary of a wimpy kid rodrick rules.
This book will almost compare to your life a little.At the first page it starts out a little like the first one. Then he says how to keep his diary away fron his mean brother. The reason i chose this book is because of all the comics and to see how hard it is to be a wimp. If i had to rate this book out of ten satrs i would give it ten stars. Mostly besause you learn and have a few laughs at the same time.

I’m doing a book review on Coraline it is a very interesting book to me. Coraline is a amazing book to read the author is Neil Gaiman. I like this book because it is fun to read and it makes me want to be Coraline (kind of). My favorite part is when Coraline goes to the other world and meets her other mother & her other father. I would give Coraline five stars.
